This years BP Portrait Award has received 2557 entries, from which the final 53 have now been selected. Unfortunately, my painting was not one of them but I did get it down to the last 200 or so.
This does mean, however, that I can now reveal my picture entitled 'My Coffee Morning in Calais'.
Last year I visited the refugee camp in Calais and saw first hand the conditions in which the refugees were living. I ended up having a coffee with this chap.
